This weekend was filled with daughter’s birthdays, and therefore special trips, dinners, and warm moments with people I love. For me this is what I live for, so when the weekend is over and everyone returns to “real life” I feel a lonesome lump in my throat.
This morning I was reminded of the sentiment that is the foundation of HIGH CAMP. In the end, we have only our memories. “Things” will not matter, only the way we feel along the way, and the memories we make with the people we love.
Music, fragrance, storytelling, shared experience, travel, a warm and welcoming home….these things matter to me because it is through them we connect.
Shared human experience, connection and love. So simple but it is everything. I enjoy selling gifts and flowers because they help people convey emotion and communicate in a way they may not otherwise be able to.
Once you experience the way a box of gardenias makes someone feel, either as a gift or as you welcome people in to your home, you will never forget it.
We are also launching our new signature candles this week and know they will absolutely blow you away. The feedback we have gotten as people experience the crackling big wide wick and warm glow through the hand-painted black glass is incredible. We have continued with our signature gardenia Palo-Santo fragrance as it has become a cult favorite.
