Who they are: A newcomer to our list, the very thoughtful folks at High Camp Supply will overnight freshly cut gardenias—in all their fragrant, fluttery glory—directly from their farm in California to your recipient's door (the only company doing so, as far as we know). The flowers, which they bill as "luxury cuttings" are surely some of the most glamorous you can send. Be advised, however, that your recipient will need a bowl on hand, as the fragile flowers arrive loosely packed in a protective, water-resistant box—simply snap the stems "like asparagus" and float them, face up, in a few inches of water. Send 30, 50, or even 100 (!) at a time.
