A beautiful installation for Biennale, Venice, candy chandeliers that slowly dissolve through Venetian Palazzo Contarini Polignac as artist Simone Post brings to life her interpretation of an exploration in “fragile joy.”
Tactile, fragile, and impossible to hold the installation reconstructs chandeliers, decorative objects, and intimate family portraits entirely out of candy. Familiar interiors soften into a dreamlike hallucination, somewhere between a faded recollection and a fictional refuge, where vulnerability is fully materialized.
This same fascination with the passing moments that imprint us for a lifetime have always been the foundation of our brand. For us, it is defined as Ephemeral Luxury. The understanding and bittersweet celebration of impermanence.
The falling leaves of a peony depict the passing of time. I leave them on the counter as they fall. There is something gloriously beautiful about flowers as a measure of time passing.
Seasonal flowers remind us of summers gone by. Create special memories that stay with us long past the last dropping petal.
Vibrant summer Peonies in all their glory are here this week. The “Gardenia” peony is rare, and in stock now. Please specify “gardenia peony” in the notes of any peony order.
